Libretto legacy 2.5: wedding bells

When last we left our heroes, our Gen 2 kids finally all finished graduating growing up, and Achilles got engaged and was chosen as heir!

This time: a party, a wedding, a midlife crisis. Fun for the whole family. 82 pictures.

Engagement done? Great, cool. Get ready for...
Wedding planning.

Figured it was a good time to make the house a little nicer too, fill in the yard a little. I learned a few lessons from making my ISBI house.

For the rest of the family besides Achilles...

...life continues as usual.

Birthday! For a stinky boy!
But a boy no longer...

The first full-fledged adult of gen 2!

The good boy is doing the party dishes on his own birthday, smh.

He aged up into his brother's hairdo. Interesting. I wonder why.
A quick run to fix himself up reveals...
Ohoho, a midlife crisis it is! Aeneas gets a striking new look. Pallas is bemused, but loves him all the same.

One celebration ends and another begins!
It's a bachelor party for Achilles!

Sappho's chatting up yet another nice gal (while one of the guests seems to have a problem with the house, rude)...

The nice lads set up their shenanigans right in the middle of the kitchen...

Sappho tries to commune with these strange glowing angels...

Aeneas is absolutely still having a midlife crisis...

Achilles teaches a new friend how to T-pose...

Bill Clinton brings some cookies...

And Gilgamesh is doing, uhhh, whatever this is.

It's a bit of a rager.

A crowd watches Aeneas get drenched in champagne by seemingly no one.

Antigone dances with a nice girl, cozies up to her and asks for a smooch...
Ouch. :'( Rejection.

But Achilles is having a good time!

He shares a nice silly moment with his bro before he becomes all occupied with The Married Life. (Aeneas is drenched in nectar for the second time tonight, but this time there's a real human to blame it on.)

Aeneas gets revenge, but uh... that's not really.. supposed to...
someone help him please.

As things wind down, Aeneas (who has largely not shown much interest in dating) chats up one of the dancers and surprises me with a little crush! Aw.

(Damn, I don't blame him, what a cutie.)

And, uh, so does Achilles... Hmm. Spicy.

Aw, Antigone and her gal pal made up!

I try to get Aeneas's new buddy to stay the night, but no luck.

Also, if you look closer...
Bill Clinton brought us spoiled cookies?? Ugh, typical.

But that wraps up the Librettos' wild night.
Back to regular life in the morning. Well, you know.

I took some time to remodel! Made the bedrooms a bit more reasonable (no more grown-up bunk beds!) and made some more art space!

Meanwhile Gilgamesh was getting stir-crazy, so I let him go to the bookstore (I hope that clerk didn't spook easily)...

And he autonomously started dumpster diving when he was done. Which I guess is better than an alive person doing it??

And Sappho puts the finishing touches on our heir portrait!
Just in time for...

THE BIG DAY.

Santos makes it just in time for the preparations! And he's........
Okay this has got to stop happening. When will I learn to check ages before getting engaged. (But seriously, did he have to dress extra grandpa to drive it home, or what?)

OH WELL. Time for marry!!

But first, Gilgamesh gets up to his usual bullshit.
-__- Must you, on your son's wedding day??

The dapper groom bartends his own wedding.

goth wedding goth wedding (great timing there for the midlife crisis)

Antigone is a little more... on theme... and does not necessarily approve of her siblings' choices.

She's not the only one with Opinions.

IT'S ALMOST TIME
ADGFINKDAF PLEASE STOP YELLING AND JUST SIT DOWN THE CHAIRS ARE RIGHT THERE

I'M SO PROUD OF MY BOY

Buuut during this lovely ceremony...
Sappho nopes out to go find food...
and Aeneas screams about his midlife crisis again. Nice.

Oh well! Party time! (again)

They even find time for family bonding!

The party winds down at sundown.

Sappho leaves to go get in a fight with an old lady.

Santos gives up and goes to paint in his new house.

And Achilles just stays outside. So happy and so adorable.

...and some of the guests seem to have just... glitched in place there.

Well.
A fitting end to the day.
